We believe an early start to a healthy dental care routine is crucial to prevent costly dental procedures in the future. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends the first dental visit to be when a child gets their first tooth, or by one year of age, whichever comes first. With regular visits starting at this age and at 6 months intervals, we use this time to teach healthy dental habits and to help your child become comfortable with visiting the dentist. With early dental care visits at a young age, your child will be more comfortable when dental cleanings start generally around the age of 3 years old. Our goal is to practice conservative dentistry and to focus on creating positive dental experiences that last a lifetime!

At what age should I bring my baby/child for their first dental visit?

The American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends the first dental visit to be when a child has their first tooth or by one year old, whichever comes first. Early dental visits are very important to provide education on dental development and hygiene as well as to help young children become familiar with the doctor and dental office. Do you take my dental insurance?
We accept insurances that allow you to choose your dentist, like most PPO plans that allow you to choose between in network or out of network providers. We are in network with Delta Dental Premier.

Along with the Delta Dental Premier plan, you may use any insurance that allows you to choose your dentist including most PPO Insurances and various other plans. If you are unsure, just contact your insurance company and ask them "can I go to any dentist I want?". Your insurance company can assist you with all benefit inquiries, either over the phone or online.
