Working at Dentistry for Children

I joined Dentistry for Children in Milpitas in August of 1998 as an associate for Dr. Michael Harris, pediatric dentist and founder of Dentistry for Children who opened this practice in 1972.  In the seven years that I trained under Dr. Harris’s expert guidance, I saw how rewarding pediatric dentistry is.   Having the experience and knowledge to give kids a positive dental experience not only amazes parents, but is my greatest accomplishment. I love my patients and am passionate about providing my patients an exceptional level of dental care.  It has been a great compliment to see some of my patients go on to careers in dentistry as a result of their treatment here!  I am very proud to continue the legacy of excellence in care for children, adults, and patients with special needs.

Work and Play

I always knew I wanted to be in healthcare and to help people.  I was fortunate that a high school friend’s father was a dentist, so I had the opportunity early to observe him at his office. It took me only one day to know that I wanted to be a dentist!  The combination of helping people and the patient relationships I observed at his office was inspiring and I knew that’s what I wanted to do with my life. I feel honored to have been able to develop a similar rapport with my patients over the years.  In my spare time I enjoy playing golf with my father and brother in law and visiting with my niece and nephew. In my 20’s I was an avid volleyball player and mountain biker.
